•YOUTH: This Wednesday, Serve with The Mission Gunter night. See you there!!

•GATHER: This Thursday @ 2pm we will LOTE with Hilltop Residents. Immediately after, we will travel to the Prosper Party Place for bounce housing and pizza. Mandy will send details out early next week.


•CAMP KIDJAM MANDATORY MEETING: Due to several volunteers and parents being out of town, we will move our leader/parent meeting to another date. Rescheduled meeting will be posted soon!!

•WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Don’t forget this Thursday, from 6:30 - 8:30pm. The Bible study over “The Covenants”. It will be held at Amy Crelia’s house (235 Green meadow). If you have not received your book you may pick “The Covenants” book up at Lifeway.

•MEN’S MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY: The next study will be July 20th @ 107 East Main (Roy’s house) from 7-8pm.

•DESPARATE FOR JESUS: Will be held July 23rd-24th at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church if you are interested in attending go online and get your tickets at www.ocbfchurch.org, if unable onsite registration starts at 4:30pm July 23rd.

•PRAYER FOR STUDENT MINISTER: Please pray for God’s leading towards filling our open student minister position and for our great group of volunteer leaders in the interim.

GBF Family

Hello church family!

I hope you all are able to enjoy some of the blessings of summer time as it FLIES by. I know for us it seems that it’s been one thing right after another. We had our Navajo friends here for a couple of visits, a lot of prep work for the New Mexico Mission trip, WENT on the NM mission trip, then a basketball camp for Q-man, a great week of Mega-Sports camp here at GBF, and here we are today…shewww it goes by quick!

This Sunday, my family and I will be out of town for a family get away of our own. So, I wanted to let you all know that WE’LL MISS YOU. If you have been out of town some this summer, and/or we haven’t crossed paths lately, please don’t hesitate to keep us in the loop on your life and prayer needs. We would love to hear from you, roy@thegbf.com.

This Sunday you will be in good hands as Wayne Stiles will be here to bring the Word in my place. Please make every effort to be in attendance as I KNOW that you will be blessed by Wayne’s time with us. One more thing, if you haven’t heard, Casey is pregnant with our fourth! PRAISE GOD!!! Please pray for Casey’s health and the health of our newest gift (Psalm 127:3) from God.

•OFFICE CLOSED: In honor of Independence Day, the office will be closed Monday, July 5th.

•MEGA SPORTS CAMP- A BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers that helped out to make Mega Sports Camp great! It was an amazing week of fun while learning about our awesome God! And each of you played a HUGE role in making it a success!

•For those who loaned GBF items or sports related materials, you may pick your items up in the BIG KID room, located on the north hall (last room). Thank you for sharing these things with us this week!


•CAMP KIDJAM: Please be sure to see Mandy Turner today if you haven’t paid the remaining balance for your child/children. A mandatory meeting will held on July 11, 2010 for both leaders and campers. Leaders’ meeting will be at 5pm and the campers’ meeting will be at 6pm.
